For a professional buyer, sanitary compliance is not optional. Our filter housings and cartridges are made from materials approved for contact with water intended for human consumption and tested by independent laboratories.
ACS certification
Our filter housings hold the ACS (Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire), required in France for materials and objects in contact with drinking water. Testing is carried out by the CARSO laboratory (Lyon), accredited by the French Ministry of Health, according to standard XP P41-280. The filter range (2- and 3-part, sizes 5" to 20") is covered by this attestation.
Controlled raw materials
Our polyphosphates comply with UNI EN 1208:2005 (chemicals for the treatment of water intended for human consumption) and are analysed according to EPA 6010 (ICP analysis) and APAT CNR IRSA 4070. Our 100% polypropylene filter yarn complies with the positive lists for drinking water contact.
Italian manufacturing
Our products are manufactured in Italy in our own production units (Akia / Polifil), allowing us to control quality at every stage. Contact us to obtain the attestations relevant to your project.
